Drivers will operate routes that serve the community, ensuring safe, smooth, and reliable rides. A Medium Rigid (MR) license or higher is required, and a four-week paid training program builds your skills for the role. Expect early mornings, split shifts, weekends, and overtime options, all while working with a supportive crew. Immediate starts are available.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses along set routes, picking up and dropping off passengers.
- Complete pre- and post-shift bus checks.
- Assist riders with questions, directions, or special needs.
- Stick to timetables for reliable service.
- Keep buses clean and passenger-ready.
- Follow all NSW road laws and company safety rules.
- Handle fares via cash or Opal card systems.
- Report breakdowns, hazards, or incidents promptly.
- Communicate clearly with depot staff and dispatch.
- Work split shifts (6am–10am, 2pm–6pm) and flexible overtime.
- Join training sessions for routes and systems.
- Pitch in with general yard or team tasks.
Requirements
Education

No formal degree required. Basic schooling accepted.
Experience
-
Previous bus driving not required if you hold an MR or higher license.
Skills
- Current Medium Rigid or higher driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Calm under pressure in traffic or with passengers.
- Able to pass medical, police, and Working with Children checks.
- Physically fit for long shifts with light movement.
Knowledge
- NSW heavy vehicle rules.
- Bus safety and emergency procedures.
- Fare collection systems (Opal).
- Route maps for Ryde and Sydney.
- Vehicle inspection and cleaning processes.
- NSW Driver Authority (preferred if already held).
