Topgolf Gold Coast is on the lookout for a reliable Cleaner to keep the venue sparkling for guests. This part-time role pays $24.95/hr Monday to Saturday and $37.43/hr on Sundays, with junior rates possible. Shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM or run into evenings, weekends, and holidays. The job’s all about maintaining spotless golf bays, dining spaces, and restrooms so guests can focus on having fun.

Responsibilities

• Spruce up golf bays, dining areas, and restrooms to keep the venue top-notch.
• Scrub surfaces and floors to match Topgolf’s high standards.
• Keep an eye on cleaning gear and flag when supplies are running low.
• Stick to safety and eco-friendly practices while on the job.
• Work odd hours, mornings, nights, weekends, or holidays—as rostered.
• Spot any broken equipment and report issues quickly.
• Use cleaning tools and products properly to complete each task.
• Team up with coworkers to keep the venue spotless.
• Handle outdoor cleaning duties in all weather.
• Complete cleaning tasks on time without cutting corners.
• Pitch in on one-off cleaning projects when needed.
• Restock and maintain guest restrooms for hygiene.
• Contribute to a fun, welcoming workplace culture.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualification required.
• Certificate II in Cleaning or hospitality training is an advantage.

Experience

• No experience required.
• 1–2 years in cleaning or hospitality preferred.

Skills

• Enthusiasm for keeping spaces clean and guest-ready.
• Strong task management to complete cleaning efficiently.
• Good communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
• Comfortable in a busy, guest-heavy environment.
• Physically fit (able to lift up to 20kg, bend, and stand for long periods).
• Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.

Knowledge

• Basic cleaning and hygiene practices.
• Workplace safety and eco-friendly cleaning methods.
• Proper handling and storage of cleaning products.
• Understanding of guest satisfaction in hospitality.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
