Responsibilities

• Inspect potatoes on conveyor belts, removing rocks, dirt, or poor-quality spuds.
• Sort carefully to maintain high product standards.
• Communicate with teammates and supervisors for smooth workflow.
• Suggest improvements for efficiency or teamwork.
• Follow all safety rules around moving equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Handle long shifts—up to 14 hours including weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Assist with basic equipment checks if requested.
• Work with the crew to meet harvest goals.
• Report safety or equipment concerns quickly.
• Support company standards for safety and quality.
• Pitch in on other harvest-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• No formal degree needed. A high school diploma is an asset but not required.

Experience

• No farm experience required.
• 1–2 years in physical labor or farm-related work is a plus.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail for quality checks.
• Physically fit to stand long hours and lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication with supervisors and teammates.
