Hourly pay ranges from $25–$30, depending on experience, plus generous salary packaging benefits up to $15,990 as a not-for-profit employer.
This role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. No degree or extensive experience is required—what matters most is attention to detail, reliability, and a caring attitude toward residents.
Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy residents’ rooms, bathrooms, and personal spaces.
- Maintain hygiene in shared areas such as dining rooms and lounges.
- Keep staff areas, including offices, neat and organized.
- Follow the set cleaning plan and complete assigned tasks.
- Record daily cleaning activities and report safety issues.
- Safely use cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals.
- Support a warm, comfortable environment for residents.
- Replenish cleaning supplies when needed.
Requirements
Education:

No qualification required; high school completion is an advantage.
Experience:

No experience required, though 1–3 years in cleaning or aged care is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Respectful, kind, and professional with residents and staff.
- Physically fit to handle cleaning duties.
- Familiar with hygiene and safe cleaning practices.
- Understanding of privacy, dignity, and resident comfort.
Location
Maranoa Facility, Drummoyne (near Chatswood), Northern Sydney, New South Wales. Applicants must live locally or be willing to relocate, with valid Australian work rights.
