Responsibilities
- Handle household chores: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and join clients in outings or activities.
- Support with bathing, dressing, and other personal care tasks.
- Maintain safety, comfort, and emotional support.
- Follow care plans for daily activities.
- Assist with special tasks (medication, wound care) if trained.
- Monitor client health and update reports promptly.
- Alert supervisors to concerns or incidents.
- Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines.
- Build trust with clients and their families.
- Adapt to different home settings and schedules.
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
- Attend scheduled shifts reliably in Elliot Lake.

Requirements
Education

Completion of caregiver training program or equivalent experience.
Experience

1–2 years in home care or caregiving preferred.
